I guess I’m reading too much about AI.
Should we go farming?
Or I’m seeing too much stuff about AI when I’m in scrolling mode 🥴
Well, the robot dance in the new Chinese year looked cool. I thought one of those robots would turn rebel and start kicking people on stage. Lucky it did not happen! Again… too much of Tron, Robocop, etc
What I thought was not so cool, but some people actually did – look at the comments – was this $ 200M video done with AI, entirely
The video may look like any other.
Replicates scenes very nicely.
Some may argue that they are unique because it was a human (or many) who created the prompt, etc.
Some of the scenes might be, but I’ve seen them many times, somewhere else.
Or is it just me noticing this now? Just because I knew it was done by AI?
We don’t want to read AI-generated content, either. We may like it, but as soon as we know it’s AI, we feel it’s crap. I would even bet that we could feel cheated, too.
AI does cool stuff. I have been doing vibe code for some time, and I enjoy it. I really do.
My point is not to say that AI sucks. It is to find out where we best fit together, and as a human, explore other areas that we can excel. I strongly believe that we need to embrace it.
Think about this: How have we evolved with coffee? Different flavors, mixes, etc. How did all this happen?

Think about that experiment that was an accident but ended up with so many questions and new perspectives. There is a human factor here.
Like how the microwave was invented. In 1945, Percy Spencer melted a chocolate bar in his pocket while experimenting with radar technology.
Can AI make these connections, too?

Perhaps yes.
I say we keep ourselves curious and explorative. This way, we’re ready to embrace the new future, co-creating with humans and machines and designing a future worth living in. Equal, peaceful, and full of joy and love ❤️

AI has the potential to be one of the most important and beneficial technologies ever invented.
